As a Field Services Representative in our Washington DC office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

 

Responsibilities

Here’s why we need you:

In this role, you will carry out activities related to project construction and contract administration including participating in pre-installation meetings, oversight and monitoring of mock-ups, evaluating materials and workmanship necessary to determine and document the quality of construction, conducting field observations, documenting non-compliant work, monitoring punch list and acceptance processes, attending progress meetings, and assisting in document control, including photo documentation. You will be focused on the electrical and low voltage aspects of the job. This position will require the ability to be able to walk the jobsite daily, climb ladders, review drawings and specifications, RFI's and submittals. 

Qualifications

Expertise of our most successful Field Services Representative:

  • 5-10 years of hands on experience in construction management/administration, commissioning, facilities management/operation, mechanical contracting or MEP coordination.
  • Knowledge of test and balance, and controls is required.
  • Knowledge of electrical and life safety systems is required.
  • 100% on jobsite at NIH in Bethesda, MD.
  • Ability to travel elsewhere up to 10% of the time.

  • Familiar with any CM software: Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, Excel and Word.
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective working individually and within team environments.
