As a Talent Acquisition Specialist in our Houston office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

 

 

Here’s why we need you:

In this role, you will provide full cycle recruiting for AEI’s offices. You will also be a member of the HR team across the AEI system.  You will source through various channels, planning interviews and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events.  You will ensure AEI is in compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws as well as develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurtures trusting relationships with potential hires. You will create strong talent pipelines for region’s current and future hiring needs.

 

 

Expertise of our most successful Talent Acquisition Specialist: 

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or commensurate experience.
  • At least five years of experience as focused Recruiter.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Familiar with the A/E/C Industry or similar technical industry.
  • Experience with recruitment social media strategies, Linkedin, resume databases and professional networks.
  • Experience and willingness to make 50+ cold / warm calls daily.
  • Hands on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods and negotiating offers.

Effective skills to help you flourish:

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in Recruitment CRM systems
  • Dayforce experience is a huge plus.
