As a Human Resources Coordinator in our Madison office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

 

Why We Need You:

In this role, you will partner offices in the Midwest region to help maintain best practices and consistent approach to HR tasks and processes. With coordination of the HR Team, you will help ensure AEI complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws.  You will help maintain strong relationships with AEI staff to support their career objectives and provide an ongoing pathway for employee engagement by;

  • Working with local office support staff to maintain the data in the HRIS system ensuring accuracy.
  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain personnel files in conjunction with local office leadership and admin support staff.
  • Stay abreast of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and technology in all aspects of human resources.
  • Help with filing required annual reporting.
  • Provide support for all projects assigned. Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Is self-directed using tact and diplomacy in a clear, courteous and professional manner.

 

Expertise of our most successful HR Coordinator:

 

  • This position requires experience supporting senior management in large, corporate environments or senior professionals in a professional services firm.
  • PC skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook tools.
  • 1+ years of HR or administrative experience

  • Possess the ability to multitask, prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment, discretion and sensitivity when dealing with high profile executives and confidential information.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company.
  • Make smart and timely decisions; understand when to take ownership of a decision and when to involve other parties.
  • React with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Think ahead and troubleshoot; remove obstacles before they become problems
  • Have impeccable attention to detail.
